I was approached to write a song for the credits of a short film based on a young person the Director and I knew who passed away tragically. This is the first time I've written a song for someone else and enjoyed the challange. My Producer and I loved the lyrics and music so much we decided to turn it into a full song. I based it from the view point that for all of us our days are numbered, a reminder to make the most of our time, to keep our eyes fixed heavenward to eternal things. I've often gotten the comment that I'm young so not to worry as I have plenty of time, but in reality, no matter our age, no one knows when we'll become a memory in time.
